Futbolín or just table football

I had a twisted foot and because of that I had to stay indoors for a couple of days. But yesterday finally my foot was feeling better yeaaah. I was meeting a friend just to relax and have a nice time together. I wore my favourite jersey with a print full of roses that made me fall in love the first time I saw it. I really love all flower prints, plaids, dots and folkloric too! I styled it with a dress, and sneakers to be comfortable.

So we went for a couple of mojitos and some jaggerminds (a cocktail with jaggermeister)! We also played table football, in Spanish it is called futbolín. It was invented during Spanish civil war (1936-39) by Alejandro Finiestre who was at the hospital in Madrid as a patient. There he saw many kids who couldn’t play soccer (Spanish national sport) because they were injured. He found inspiration in a ping-pong table, to which he applied soccer. Putting together both things, he created futbolín with little figures of soccer players. It is a lot of fun, and team that loses has to pass through under the table!

You definitely have to try!
