Happy Saint Paddy’s day! It is one of my favourite days of the calendar! As a matter of fact I lived in Ireland for almost a year, and I had a greatest time of my life. For the sake of the Paddy’s day my outfit is inspired in green and in spring in general. It was always for me a sign of awakening of the new stage, the air begins to smell differently, many different flowers appear from the lethargy and you know, the air is warmer and days are longer. Daffodils are very representative for this day, but as they are very unusual in Spain here I leave for you a first stanza of the poem written by William Wordsworth, “Daffodils”.
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Lovely, isn’t it? 🙂
